WikiLeaks’ liability may be difficult to prove

Journalists and government officials have suggested that either WikiLeaks or The New York Times might face legal liability for publishing the contents of diplomatic cables and other leaked documents. National Children’s Study launches here

Washington People: Laura Rosenbury

Laura Rosenbury, JD, professor of law, grew up in rural Indiana with two very strong grandmothers but in a church community that did not have much of a track record on women’s rights. “I think it was pretty obvious from a young age that women weren’t given the same opportunities as men and were expected to take on different roles,” she says. “And I didn’t understand why.” FULL STORY

Water bottle filling stations being installed

The Department of Facilities Planning & Management, School of Medicine Facilities Management Department and Office of Sustainability have partnered on a pilot project to retrofit a number of water fountains on the Danforth and Medical campuses to allow for the easy refilling of reusable water bottles.
